Handover usually takes 60–75 days from order confirmation, depending on how ready your site is. If you need it sooner, ask us about an express schedule, which has taken 15–20 days.

You receive the drawing, the finish options and a written quote, and you decide once you have seen them.

Regular servicing keeps a lift safe and reliable. You can choose planned maintenance visits, and you can call us when something goes wrong.
- Every lift comes with 12 months of free planned maintenance. Hydraulic lifts have a 3-year warranty and other lifts a 1-year warranty
- We aim to respond to breakdown calls within 1–2 working days in and around Visakhapatnam, and 3–4 working days outstation
- An annual maintenance contract gives you scheduled visits, so you know when we are coming
- After each visit you receive a service report, so you always have a record of the work done

Which lifts does HLA Lifts supply?
We supply home lifts, passenger lifts for apartments and commercial buildings (MRL, traction and belt drive), cargo lifts, accessibility lifts and stairlifts, in a range of finishes.
How long does it take from order to handover?
Handover usually takes 60–75 days from order confirmation, depending on how ready your site is. Express projects have been handed over in 15–20 days. We confirm your schedule after the site survey.
How much does a lift cost?
The cost depends on the number of floors, the shaft, the cabin finish and the doors. The Design your lift tool gives you a starting range, and the site survey leads to a firm written quote.
What does a hydraulic lift need from my building?
It needs a shaft or an opening where we can build one, a pit, and a small space for the power unit. We survey the site, measure it and explain what fits before you decide.
Should I choose a hydraulic lift or a traction lift?
A hydraulic lift suits homes and buildings up to G+4 (five stops). A traction, MRL or belt-drive lift suits taller buildings with more daily use. We recommend the right type after seeing your building.
What happens in a power cut?
The lift returns to the nearest floor so you can step out. The power unit also has a manual release knob that can bring the car down in an emergency, and a GSM-based intercom is standard in our lifts, so nobody is left stranded, even without a phone.
What is a stairlift?
A stairlift is a chair that travels along a track fixed to your staircase. It helps anyone who finds climbing stairs difficult. A stairlift is separate from a passenger or home lift, which has its own shaft.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Hydraulic lifts have a 3-year warranty from the day of handover. Passenger lifts (MRL, traction and belt drive), cargo lifts, accessibility lifts and stairlifts have a 1-year warranty. If a part fails because of a manufacturing defect or poor workmanship, we repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, accidents or water damage. Every lift also comes with 12 months of free planned maintenance after handover.
Who services the lift after handover?
We do. We aim to respond to breakdown calls within 1–2 working days in and around Visakhapatnam and 3–4 working days outstation, and we offer annual maintenance contracts.
