Hydraulic dock leveller A hinged ramp at a loading bay that closes the gap between the dock and the truck bed. 
Hydraulic tail lift A lifting platform fixed to the back of a truck to load and unload without a dock. 
Hydraulic goods lift A lift for goods only, running between floors in a shaft or on an open frame, driven by a hydraulic cylinder. 
Small service lift (dumbwaiter) A small lift for trays, files and light goods between floors, where a full goods lift is not needed.
